This is a gorgeous Fanta coloured Hessonite Garnet from Tanzania,  Africa.  This piece of rough was sourced from " Mad Magpie gems " ,an Australian gemologist living in Mombasa, Africa.

These orange garnets are delicious and are certainly something unique for a stand out piece of jewellery.  

Its completely natural, unheated.

Approximately 2.55ct

Approximately 8.6mm wide and 4.75 depth.

Cut in a standard round brilliant design 

This gem contains minute "sugar " inclusions but doesn't affect the beauty of this gorgeous piece.
